Awards

We have many awards available for firms all over Iowa.

AIA Iowa Design Award

Recognizes excellence in architecture projects which are designed by members of AIA Iowa and emphasizes its importance in the community. This award is given out once a year at our AIA Iowa Annual Convention in September.

AIA Iowa Craft Award

Recognizes Iowa craftspeople and / or companies who demonstrate particular skill and inventiveness in the execution and incorporation of their craft into our built environment. This award is given out once a year at our AIA Iowa Annual Convention in September.

25 Year Award 

Recognizes longstanding excellence in architecture and emphasizes its importance in the community through recognizing projects that are 25 years or older. This award is given out once a year at our AIA Iowa Annual Convention in September. 

Impact Award 

Recognizes team members including architects, designers, and other collaborators for an architectural project specifically designed to directly benefit social, humanitarian, community or environmental causes. This award is given out once a year at our AIA Iowa Spring Conference. 

Central States Award 

Recognizes outstanding architecture projects in the AIA Central States Region (CSR), designed by AIA CSR members. This award is given out every five years at our AIA Iowa Central States Region Conference.
